Hi, I have the schedule and escalation policies all setup. Now the problem is that I’m getting alerted x amount of times for the same alert. I looked online and found the feature ‘Reduce Noise’ but it says that it isn’t available on my account. Is there a reason for that? It is an extra feature that requires more money?

It is possible that your notifications for incidents/escalation policies are setup to repeat. I’d have to take a look at an example incident and your notification setup to be sure. If you could email us support@pagerduty.com with more details (example incident where you were notified multiple times) we can take a look for you.

Check to be sure that you understand how to set up the deduplication field in your incoming events/alerts. This will ensure that each incoming alert (for the same condition) does not create a new incident, but instead deduplicates it to the previous event/alert.
